Collection — 01
I purchased the following convolute at a Munich flea market, presumably from an estate. Unfortunately, the contents of the four boxes with about 600 medium format glass slides were very unsorted, so it was very difficult to determine the affiliation of the individual slides. Upon sifting, it quickly became clear that the photographer seemed to be from Munich or the surrounding area. His photographs show various hikes, landscapes, mountains, villages and even parts of Munich itself. Chronologically, we should be between 1950 and 1960.
Collection — 02
During a visit to the Paris flea market (Marché aux puces Porte de Vanves), I came across a few smaller series of medium format negatives, wrapped in cryptically and almost illegibly labeled glassine sleeves. The contents promised interesting moments – and I was not disappointed: the photographs show mysterious nuns (Basilique Sainte Anne, Bonlieu-sur-Roubion), a private shoot, and various snapshots from 1954 to 1970.
Collection — 03
The present collection is a small part of an auction from the United States. It includes the photographs of an American family who loved to travel and who captured their experiences on numerous slides. The selection includes photographs of an extended trip to Asia (1985) and photographs of the 18th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico in 1989.

A small travel documentary in the form of 35mm slides, acquired at a Munich flea market (Theresienwiese). Geographically, it was probably taken in what was then Yugoslavia (presumably Croatia) – in terms of time, we are in 1962. The young men who documented their activities in detail were obviously not completely averse to the local cuisine.
Collection — 05
A plain wooden box, labeled »Sweden, Stockholm, Lapland, 1960«. The contents of this unexciting box document a trip from Sassnitz (Germany) to Abisko (Sweden) – a small town located north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. The collection, consisting of nearly 50 framed medium format slides, shows moments of a trip (covered by ferry and train) from Sassnitz to Trelleborg, via Stockholm, Gävle, Luleå, Jukkasjärvi as well as the towns of Kiruna and Abisko.
Collection — 06
From the collection of a well-traveled family from Dresden: travel documentation from Mongolia, Vietnam, the former Yugoslavia, Italy, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and records of various camping and kayaking vacations. In terms of time, we are probably between 1960 and 1980. The photos were taken on 35mm slides.

A collection characterized by contrasts: Pulsating metropolises such as New York and Chicago contrast with the tranquil shores of Lake Tegernsee and the majestic mountains. The photographs date from 1969 / 1970 and were taken with a Rolleiflex 2.8F by Armin Mattstedt. At the same time the first collection from a non-estate.

This collection presents a documentary road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, including the impressive landscapes of various national parks (Banff, Jasper). The photographs were taken during the 1988 Winter Olympics and convey in every respect the impressive beauty of nature that can be experienced in Canada.

This collection presents two impressive time travels through Yosemite National Park (1969) and the Grand Canyon National Park (1983). The slides capture dreamlike landscapes, breathtaking views and the everlasting beauty of these iconic natural treasures.
